Rett's Baptism

One week after his birthday Rett had his baptism! We were able to do it at the church with visitors as long as everyone wore masks. We weren't allowed to have refreshments and not many people came, but it was still small and special. We tried to do zoom, but I couldn't figure it out and the internet seemed to work right. Here were his invitations:

My mom made him a special towel with his name and the date embroidered on it.

Both grandmas gave the talks, just like at James's baptism and this time James and I got to be the witnesses to the ordinance. It was so amazing! While Anthony and Rett got dressed into clean clothes, this is the slideshow that we played on the TV. I could watch this over and over, I just love this little boy!

During his confirmation blessing Anthony blessed him to have strength to overcome adversity, strength to choose the right, that he would make good friends and choose good influences, and that he would have a long and happy life.

Family picture afterwards. It's great to be 8!
