More July

I signed James up for an online math tutoring class. He has so much fun each week, he wants to do it every day! It is definitely too expensive to do after the summer (I had a trial coupon code) but it has been great for now.

We went to a reptile presentation at the library. So many creepy crawlies!

James's cub scout pack hasn't met over the summer, but they did have a fishing morning on the river. Everyone just met at the same dock with their fishing gear and they provided the bait. I was surprised at how many fish everyone caught since it was so loud and crazy with all those boys.

Rett did better than anyone else! He caught at least 4 fish. I think he did so well because he was the only kid that would just put his line in the water and stay. still. All the other boys couldn't wait and would move their pole around or reel in "just to check".

The fish moved right as I took the picture.

Best. face. ever.

Anthony caught this huge flounder! We ended up taking home two fish to eat for lunch.

In the last 10 minutes, James finally caught his first fish. He was getting frustrated watching Rett catch so many, but he wouldn't listen to us when we told him to just sit and wait.
