Color Bash 2018

It's that time of year again! Time for Color Bash at James' school! The kids spent all day at school competing in different obstacle courses and games in their team groups and then they gather at the end of the day for awards. This year James was on Mrs. Hutchinson's team, they were called "Hutchinson's Heros"

As a volunteer, I got put in charge of the potato sack races with a few other parents. It was fun watching all the teams participate, but I was bummed that I missed out on watching James at all the stations. I did sneak over to a few that were nearby when I saw his team so that I could get at least a few pictures.

This year they sang "We are the world" and James' team was kind of on the edge of the group so they didn't get as much color dust as everyone else. James still got quite a bit in his hair though!

James' team won 1st place for teamwork, so he got a 1st place medal to wear around his neck. He was very happy about that!
While James and I were playing at school, Anthony's parents and Rett got to play at home. They even had some visitors in the RV!

Rett would get out of bed and go outside to the RV to find someone to snuggle with in their bed. Such a sweetie!

Since the next day wasn't a school day, James even got to spend the night in the RV. This was his first time staying the entire night and not wanting to come back inside in the middle of the night. He loved it!

That sounds like a ton of fun!! Our school does something similar that last week or two of school, but y'all probably do it earlier to avoid the heat! The color thing at the end sounds really fun, I bet the kids LOVE that! That is SOOOOOO cute about Rett going into the RV to snuggle Mimi and Papa, how sweet is that boy?! Love it! And funny about the goat and Baymax going into the RV, haha!
