St. Augustine and Baymax Visits

The weekend before Christmas, we decided to go to St. Augustine to see their festival of lights. I had always heard such great things about it, but we had never tried it out! Since my brother Daniel was in town, we drove his new fancy car. The boys loved everything about it, all the buttons, the back up camera, everything!

We decided to get there early to visit the fort. We were there just in time for them to do the weapons demonstration and fire the cannons. So cool!

We told them this section of the fort was a jail.

I'm kind of jealous that my brother's Iphone has a muuuuuch better camera than mine. I took the first picture and he took this one. Same time, same place.

After the fort we had time before the light tour, so we walked around and found a place for dinner. We had fun playing with filters while we waited for our food:

The line for the festival tour was so long!! Since we have never been, I didn't know what to expect. We ended up waiting for about an hour and a half. Luckily, they had entertainment/distractions for while you waited. The kids could visit Santa, roast marshmallows, and there was even a fire dancer performance.
Once we finally got on the tour train, everyone sang Christmas carols while they drove us all around to see the lights. It was a really fun time!

It wasn't time for Baymax to come home for good yet, but we did get to pick him up after church on Christmas eve so he could spend the night and be with us for Christmas day. The boys argue over who gets to hold him in their lap every time we take him in the car.

He is the calmest puppy I have ever seen! He likes to play, but when he isn't playing he is sleeping or snuggling.

We took him for a walk at the park for his very first experience with a leash. He did not like it! He kept getting scared by it when he would notice it behind him and then he would try to run away from it and choke himself.

Running after Rett:

My brother's dog, Henry got to meet Seabiscuit. Seabiscuit sort of charged right at him, I guess he didn't like him being in his territory!
