Poor Rett spent three days sick on the couch with a high fever and cough. He was so pitiful!
More pictures from the cub scout Easter egg hunt:
A few months ago we came home from church and noticed some firetrucks down the street. We didn't know what it was for until we started exploring the edge of our property weeks later. Apparently there was a wildfire by the train tracks and it even went to the edge of our horse/goat pasture! The fire department cut our fence so that they can get their equipment in to fight the fire, then repaired it when they were done. I still can't believe all this happened and we had no idea!
Strawberries from the garden:
Anthony went hunting early one Saturday and got some amazing pictures of the sunrise:
100% accurate:
Anthony took James out kayaking/fishing. They had the best time!
Later he took both of the boys to explore more of the river:
Rett really wanted to do soccer this season, so we signed him up. It has been a strange season, he doesn't have a coach, so the YMCA director has assigned high school kids to lead different teams. It is kind of unorganized and they don't really have official games. They just practice/play but they still love it!
A rocket launch in the middle of soccer practice. What a cool place we live in!
These crazy chickens shove themselves in together to lay their eggs. I think we are ready for some more nesting boxes!
We stopped by a self-serve honey shack and James wanted to try this swing they have on a tree. I thought it was cool to see all the beehives in the background.
During a thunderstorm a tree fell on our back fence. We had no idea it happened until the goats decided to use it as a bridge to our neighbor's pasture. So Anthony had to pull out the chainsaw and cut the tree off the fence. He looks like a pro!
