A friend told us about the Cosmic Kids Yoga channel on youtube and the boys looooove to do it. It is nice to have something active we can do inside and she makes yoga so fun!
Anthony took a few days off of work to get some things done around the house (mostly bee stuff of course!), so we took the opportunity to drive to the closest bee supply store 1 1/2 hours away. They had a really neat observation hive inside the store so you could see all the bees at work. Ignore Rett, he won't make normal faces for the camera anymore.
For two weeks out of the year, we have fireflies!! It is seriously my favorite thing about living in a more rural neighborhood. It is hard to get pictures or videos of the fireflies, but we had so much fun catching them and watching them. We even invited some friends over one night to see them because their kids had never seen fireflies in their life!
Birthday party number 5 for a friend from Rett's church class. His mom is a photographer, so she loves getting pictures of everyone:
Most Saturdays we make a trip to the feed store to get hay. On the way home this time we decided to take a quick detour to look for alligators in preserve. We saw a total of 3 medium sized ones, which was really exciting for the boys. I asked James, "So if you see an alligator, what do you do?". He said, "You jump on it!"
Alligator on the bank:
We got out and walked around for a little while and found this beautiful little cove. Anthony couldn't wait to come back later and try some fishing there.
