We were invited to David and Christy's house for Thanksgiving since Happy and Jared were in town. It was sooooo awesome not to host Thanksgiving this year. Another thing to be grateful for!!

A few days after Thanksgiving, Happy and Jared's family came down to our house to visit for a few days. Everyone was excited to explore the farm!
Giving carrots to the horses and the goats:
Petting chickens:
We took a walk down the road to put pennies on the railroad tracks and to feed our neighbor's cows some vines.
The cows love Baymax for some reason! They follow him along the fence and start mooing like crazy when he leaves.
We thought we would have to wait until later in the day for the train to flatten our pennies, but one happened to come by while we were out walking. It was very exciting!
We found all the pennies but one (that's why Rett is raising his hand instead of holding one up). Later one I think we decided that Rett's penny was too close to James's and they fused together when the train went over them. So cool!
Baymax invading everyone's personal space. Seriously, this dog thinks that he is a lap dog.
Sunday night we all got together in Cocoa for more time with extended family and we got to visit with Presha (Anthony and Happy's childhood friend) and her family. The boys were just excited to play outside and watch themselves on the security cameras.
Even though the weather wasn't the best, we had to take a trip to the beach with the Utah cousins. James was in school (I couldn't let him skip after missing so much for our Universal vacation the week before) but Rett loved running around with the kids. He wouldn't get in the water because it is still too scary for him, but all the other cousins loved playing in the water and boogie boarding.
Another day we visited the dairy in New Smyrna to watch them milk the cows and see all the animals. It was so awesome!! The cooler weather had prompted a lot of the pregnant cows to give birth, so there were at least 8 calves sitting the sunshine that we got to love on. They came right up to use and starting looking all around our legs for udders to nurse on 😂
Teya looked especially delicious I guess! She had three trying to nurse on her at once!
Llama!
The tiniest lambs you have ever seen! They were seriously sooooo cute.
After seeing all the cows, horses, donkeys, chickens, rabbits, and barn cats (I almost took one home with me, they were so sweet!) we picked Rett up from preschool and drove up to the lighthouse. No one really wanted to climb up it, but Dallin wanted to check it out. After a few flights of stairs he got kind of nervous and wanted to go back down but I kept convincing him to go "just a little bit more". Eventually we were so close to the top, that we just finished! Then he raced back down and I tried to keep up. Going all the way up and back down only took 8 minutes, but my legs were soooo sore and stiff for days!
We went on an adventure and followed the nature walk path:
Playing on the swing in the front yard:
Anthony got his Dad and Jared to help him with the dividing wall for the tortoise pen so that we could put Voldetort outside. The Lagana's and their projects! It was so much fun visiting and having family around. The kids were so disappointed to have their playmates leave. They keep asking when we can go back out to Utah to see them. Hopefully soon!
