Halloween 2018

Celebrating Frankenstein's birthday at the library:

The Friday before Halloween, Rett's preschool class had their trunk and treat. All of their costumes were so adorable and they got so much candy!! Rett couldn't even hold up his bucket towards the end of it, it was so heavy.

After trick or treating, they changed out of their costumes and played on the bouncy houses his school rented for the day.

Then it was lunchtime and time for pizza and more treats! After eating cupcakes Rett told his entire table that he could do 20 push ups. Then he jumped up and ran to the carpet to demonstrate.

A few days before Halloween, James came home sick from school. He was miserable!! He had a fever and didn't have the energy to move from the couch for a few days. I was worried he was going to miss Halloween, but luckily he felt good enough to go for their storybook parade. He went as Harry Potter and another girl in his class was Hermione!

His teacher was Ms. Frizzle from the magic school bus. I thought it was the perfect costume for her because she always does fun and different activities in their class.

James loved wearing the costume glasses. I think it made him wish that he could wear glasses for real.

That night we joined some friends of ours to go trick or treating around our old neighborhood. They had a trailer for everyone to ride around on and the kids loved it!

James and Kylie K. (his classmate from last year). She was the cutest butterfly!

Rett decided to draw cat whiskers on his face before we left the house, so he had fun taking his Darth Vader mask off and revealing his whiskers.
We had fun going to the different haunted/scary decoration houses and James insisted that he wasn't scared at all. Rett refused to get off the trailer, he is not a fan of spooky things!
